This portrait is my grandmother whose my mother's mother.
Unfortunately , she's gone this year by illness, but i still miss her and her foods and her house where an orchard village. I drew her when she was 85 year old in her house. it took only 2hours.

ur post reminds me of my grandmom as well...
she passed away when she was 80 years old.
actually,it was indeed shocking to every member of my family.
u know wut...the day she passed away was her 80-year-old birthday.
lots of relatives and friends got ready for celebrating this great time..however......sigh....
actually,i loved my grandma very much...coz she brought me up...losing her is really a catastrophe for me...it took a long time for me to accept the truth...
so i'm really sorry to hear that.
wutever,we need to go on our life and even make it better!
